By downloading, installing, or using the Vasora application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Vasora is a community platform designed to connect expats living in Europe. The App provides features including community discussions, travel companion matching, local event listings, money transfer comparison, and expert Q&A.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vasora. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. • You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person. • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You agree not to use the App to: • Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory. • Spam, advertise, or solicit other users without authorisation. • Share false or misleading information. • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others. • Attempt to access or tamper with another user's account. • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent. • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.
You retain ownership of any content you post ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Vasora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of operating the service. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms without notice.
7.1 Rate Comparisons The money transfer comparison feature provides indicative rates from third-party providers for informational purposes only. Exchange rates and fees are subject to change. Always verify rates directly with the provider before transacting. 7.2 Peer-to-Peer Exchange Matching Vasora provides a peer matching noticeboard that allows users to find others interested in currency exchange. Vasora is NOT a financial institution, payment processor, or money service business. We do not hold, transfer, or guarantee any funds. All peer exchange transactions occur entirely between users outside the App. Vasora accepts no liability for: • Any loss, fraud, scam, or dispute arising from peer transactions • The accuracy of rates posted by users • The failure of any user to fulfil an agreement • Any legal or regulatory consequences of peer currency exchange By using the peer exchange feature you acknowledge that you do so entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend: • Using verified bank transfers only • Never sending money to unverified users • Meeting only in safe, public locations for cash exchanges • Reporting suspicious requests using the in-app report feature
Vasora is built on mutual respect and community support. We ask all members to: • Be respectful and constructive in all interactions. • Share accurate and helpful information. • Report content that violates these Terms using the in-app reporting feature. • Respect the privacy and personal space of other community members.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
Vasora facilitates connections between users for travel companions and ride sharing. All in-person meetings are entirely at your own discretion and risk. Vasora accepts no liability for any incident, injury, loss, or dispute arising from physical meetings arranged through the App. For your safety, we strongly recommend: • Meet for the first time only in busy, public locations. • Share your travel plans and the other person's profile with a trusted contact. • Do not share your home address or personal financial details before meeting. • Trust your instincts — cancel if you feel unsafe. • For rides, verify the vehicle and driver match the posted listing before entering. • Report any suspicious or unsafe behaviour using the in-app report feature. Vasora does not verify the identity, driving licence, insurance, or vehicle of any user. Passengers ride at their own risk.
